FCT Council Chairman Orders Those Not Supporting Tinubu, APC To Leave Abuja

The Chairman of the Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Samuel Shekwolo, has ordered Nigerians who are not supporting the All Progressives Congress, APC, to leave his area.

In a viral video where he was addressing some people, Shekwolo threatened to deal with anyone not supporting the APC on the day of election.

“In my area council, it’s either you’re doing APC, or you leave the area council. I’m not hiding it at all; I’m saying it with confidence,” he said in the video.

He added that he was speaking with confidence and not hiding his plans.

“I’m not hiding it; with confidence, I’m saying it,” the council chairman said.

He said the reason he issued the threat was because of what President Bola Tinubu and FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike have been doing for the territory.

“You know why? I cannot have minister and president doing for us what they are doing; then on the day of the election, you will say you will come and match me, I will not agree. It is either you are with us or you are out,”Shekwolo insisted.

Shekwolo’s threat is coming less than a week after political parties in Nigeria signed an accord to ensure a peaceful conduct of the 2027 general election in the country.

This has has created anxiety as it appears to be a dangerous trend that could be witnessed as Nigeria goes into the campaigns.
